MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR CHARLES KNOX · Druid Hills Presbyterian Church @ 10:30am. Memorial service for Atlanta composer and educator Dr. Charles C. Knox Jr, who passed away on December 11, 2019. he was 90 years old. Prelude music including compositions by Knox begins at 10:30am, religious service at 11am. Knox’s obituary, published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, states that “In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in his memory to the Georgia State University Foundation Music Department for the Lucile Allen Memorial Scholarship, Druid Hills Presbyterian Church Organ Restoration Fund, the Atlanta Humane Society, and The Salvation Army of Atlanta.” www.facebook.com/events/551692708931522/
