About Chris Moser

Chris Moser is a veteran public television producer/writer/director and a former news writer for CNN-USA. Moser is a 1994 recipient of the Governor's Award in the Humanities for his career achievements using media in service to that field. His most recent documentary film, FRANK HAMILTON STORY AND THE FOLK REVIVAL – FROM WOODY GUTHRIE TO WE SHALL OVERCOME, premiered on Georgia Public Media in April 2023 and is being distributed to PBS affiliates nationwide. Since college he has been a semi-professional performer and non-profit promoter of folk music. He is the long-time president of Atlanta Area Friends of Folk Music (AAFFM) and former vice-president and music director of the Atlanta Celtic Festival.
