Athens, GA— Atlantans have long been accustomed to driving to the University of Georgia in Athens for Georgia Bulldogs football games. Going there for a concert is equally easy. The UGA campus is only an hour and a half drive from midtown Atlanta and an even shorter commute if you live on the metro area’s east side.
Just before Labor Day Weekend, UGA Presents announced its 2022-23 season. The programming includes not only classical music but also concerts in other genres, as well as dance and theater.
Hodgson Concert Hall and Ramsey Concert Hall are both located in the University of Georgia Performing Arts Center, while the UGA Fine Arts Building is home to the Fine Arts Theatre.
Here is our rundown on the 2022-23 UGA Presents season, which kicks off this Thursday:
