About Andrew Alexander

Andrew Alexander is an arts journalist based in Atlanta, Georgia. He writes about classical music, theater, dance, visual art, and contemporary art. He has twice been voted “Atlanta’s Best Critic” by Creative Loafing readers, was a 2015 Fellow at the National Critics Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, and was mentored by Wall Street Journal art critic Peter Plagens in the 2014 Arts Writing Workshop. In his personal life, he says he loves art, travel, cooking, bourbon, and old records.
