ATLANTA, GA— The U.S. Congress will make decisions this week that will determine the fate of thousands of independent venues, promoters and businesses in the national ecosystem of live music.
TVenues, promoters, festivals, and artists across the state of Georgia are joining together t6day to promote a Georgia Day of Action, with the state specific hashtag #SAVEGEORGIASTAGES, to call on Senators Loeffler & Perdue and our respective Congresspersons to support the following legislative items in the federal stimulus package that is coming up for a vote:
- The RESTART Act (S.3814)
- The Save Our Stages Act (S.4258)
- A 6-month extension of unemployment benefits
