Video: A conversation with Jaclyn Rainey, principal horn of the Atlanta SYmphony Orchestra

William Ford | 15 SEP 2020

Jaclyn Rainey was recently designated as Principal Horn for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO). She started learning to play the horn with the encouragement of her parents.

Striving to be the best she could be has led her to prestigious assignments with major orchestras across the US, and in the process, she has worked with some of our most celebrated conductors.

Fortunately, she is returning to Atlanta to lead the ASO horn section as it continues to be a leading cultural institution.

In our interview for Earrelevant, Rainey talks about her background and shares her opinions on composers, conductors, and orchestras.
