Atlanta, GA— Atlanta-based professional chamber choir Coro Vocati, under the leadership of choral conductor John Dickson, has announced its 2023-2024 season of concerts featuring three programs that convey aspects of the human experience through storytelling.
The professional chamber choir’s season begins this month, when it commemorates a somber anniversary with the oratorio Considering Matthew Shepard. They turn to a more joyous tone in December when it presents Christmas with Coro Vocati. Then in April, the group will examine the ups and downs of life with a program entitled Journey Together.

Craig Hella JOHNSON: Considering Matthew Shepard. (concert version) – Johnson’s 2016 fusion oratorio features jazz, country, classical solos, poetic texts, and passages from Shepard’s personal journal.
