ATLANTA, GA— Callanwolde Fine Arts Center has announced the return of its outdoor concert series, Jazz on the Lawn, which launches August 27 and runs through October 22. The series showcases some of Atlanta’s most notable jazz artists in the intimate Callanwolde Amphitheater, set amid the historic estate’s gardens and natural surroundings.
Guests are invited to bring a blanket, low back chairs and a picnic to these ticketed events featuring a mix of classic and contemporary jazz, swing, fusion, smooth and blues.
Jazz on the Lawn concert schedule:
- August 27: Eddie and Mayi Lopez & Orquesta MaCuba
- September 10: Joey Sommerville
- September 24: Karla Harris
- October 8: Joe Alterman
- October 22: Joe Gransden with special guest Robin Latimore
Doors open at 6:30pm. Concerts begin at 7:30pm. Concerts conclude at 9:30pm.
