Musical inventors have until October 1, 2024, to submit their creations for a chance to be among the approximately ten finalists who will present their instruments in person. These finalists will demonstrate their work to a panel of international music technology experts and perform in a public concert, competing for a share of $10,000 in prizes. To assist with travel expenses, finalists will receive an honorarium, with $500 for those within North America and $1,000 for international participants.

The competition is unique in its focus on identifying and promoting new musical instruments that blend technology with traditional performance arts, which could revolutionize music creation and the future of musical expression.
