Cleveland Chamber Music Society celebrates 75th Anniversary season

EarRelevant Staff | 19 SEP 2024

CLEVELAND, Ohio— The Cleveland Chamber Music Society (CCMS) will celebrate its 75th anniversary during the 2024-2025 season, showcasing a lineup of world-renowned artists. The Jerusalem Quartet’s rare performance of the complete cycle of Dmitri Shostakovich’s string quartets will be a highlight of the season. Spanning five concerts at the Cleveland Museum of Art from April 21 to April 30, 2025, the performances mark a likely first for Cleveland, presenting all 15 quartets in sequence, an extraordinary event.

Other notable performances include Imani Winds with pianist Michelle Cann on October 14, Cuarteto Casals on November 12, and flutist Emmanuel Pahud on January 21. The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, joined by guitarist Jason Vieaux, will present “Spanish Journey” on February 11.
